Note: 
The map details the mouth of the Chiang River in the Fujian Province and covers part of the city of Fuzhou on the southeastern coast of China just west of Taiwan. On the map are marked towns, fortifications, islands, bridges, rivers and mountains. Several coastal features are noted such as shoals and banks, as well as depth soundings revealing the nautical use of the map. The Bay depicted no longer exists today as the coast line changed drastically.
