Dear Mr. Kinder:
I have the pleasure to invite you to be Advisor of the Peking-Mukden
Railway for life,
for which you will be given a salary of £500.0.0 (Five Hundred Pounds) per
annum.
The pension which has previously been granted to you, however, will be
stopped hereafter.
Yours truly.
