A locomotive boiler temporarily positioned on a four-wheel bogie. The boiler and fittings appear to match the size and shape for IRNC locomotive No.11, one of four similar built by Dubs in 1888. These locomotives were erected in the open at Tongshan before large locomotive workshops were constructed at the turn of the Century.
