These two pictures are believed to be of Kinder’s house at Tongshan. The female figure on the tennis court is most probably Kinder’s wife, Mary. The second picture of the rear of house and its walled compound has been taken from the Phoenix Hill (鳳凰 s: 凤凰山temple on the hilltop overlooking the house. (A6/71 & A6/73)
