Description:
Sailing junks and two small steam launches or ferries moored at the waterfront at Victoria harbour in Hong Kong. The pier appears to have a temporary mat shed shelter.  In the background is the recently completed Hong Kong Club building. The picture is believed to date to c. 1898 just after the new Praya had been reclaimed. (A3/152)
