2-6-2 saddle-tank locomotive No. 9 captioned as built at Tongshan. This was similar in design to two others supplied in 1907 by North British Locomotive Works (NB). There is some dispute whether No.9 was built at Tongshan. Some records indicate the NB locomotives were numbered 8 & 9 and the Tongshan locomotive was No.10.
