This map was made by cartographer and ship owner John Pascal Larkins. It depicts the Chuangshan islands and incomplete parts of surroundings islands and coastline. A number of soundings can be seen surrounding the islands but specially detail is given to Xiachuan Island as the number of soundings decrease as further west it goes. There are two anchorage points marked on the map, one between the two main Chuangshan islands and the other on Shadi Bay (Shitoe Bay).
