Note:
On this rare map of Macao the buildings are being represented geometrically, typical of a plan. It is depicted the water supply of Macao during the establishment of the Macao Water Supply Company Limited in 1935. Various places were handwritten later on the map including the existing water plant and the filter station on the Green Island, whilst the existing Areia Preta area was marked with 'Race course' and also the 'Dog Track' near the Lin Fung Temple. At that time, some areas of Macao were formed by land reclamation such as the existing northern Areia Preta, and Toi San. The area along Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro had also been gradually built. It is noteworthy that the district from Hotel Lisboa, Liceu de Macau (a secondary school that no longer exists) to S. Francisco Garden were indicated with oblique lines with the legend 'Aera Japanese were interested in', what it means remains yet unknown.
