This map by Vincenzo Coronelli was published in his 'Isolario Atlante Veneto' in the second part of volume two. The first part of volume two covers the Mediterranean, Italy and the Adriatic, the second part covers Britain and Europe, Africa, Japan and Asia, and the West Indies. The map was printed in two sheets to allow greater detail. Coronelli's Isolario is considered to be one of the most decorative atlases of 17th century. The map shows administrative divisions, cities, villages, place names, rivers and mountains.
