This plate is from the work 'O Porto de Macau: ante-projecto para o seu melhoramento' by Adolfo Ferreira de Loureiro, a Portuguese military engineer. He is known for the projects of improvement on the Ports of Leixões, Lisbon and Macau. In it are depicted 3 sets of graphics, the first of the curves of tides in December 1883 by the moon phases and of January 1884, the second and third are side views between the Stone and Green Islands and Green Island and D. Maria Beach, respectively.
