This plate is from the work 'O Porto de Macau: ante-projecto para o seu melhoramento' by Adolfo Ferreira de Loureiro, a Portuguese military engineer. He is known for the projects of improvement on the Ports of Leixões, Lisbon and Macau. In it are depicted 2 sets of graphics, the first with the groundwork of the harbor of Macau in the years 1804, 1858, 1685 and 1884; and the second of the Earth rainfall climatology in Macau in the years 1882 and 1883.
