This chart of the East China Sea provides with the coast line of China, the island of Taiwan, west part of Japan and the Korean Island of Jeju. Even though this chart seems to have been made for navigational aid very few place names are given and the soundings are also scarce. Only one route is marked and is that of the Ship 'La Comtesse de Ponchartrain' in 1775 between Taiwan and what seems to be Okinawa.
